Ospreys Executive Club Golf Day

July 31st saw two teams from Matthews & Co taken up the Ospreys Executive Club Golf Day at Garnant Golf Club. We were very pleased to have the company of Dan Biggar and Ryan Bevington in our teams along with guests Paul Greenwood, Dave Matthews, Bryn Ible and Ian Greenhill. A great day was had by all and we extend our sincere thanks to all Ospreys and Garnant GC staff.

Ospreys Premium Sponsor Ospreys Rugby has formed an innovative and groundbreaking strategic partnership with Matthews & Co (Chartered Accountants), which has allowed their Self Invested Pension Plan the opportunity to become a shareholder in Llandarcy Park (Ospreys) Ltd, the holding company of Ospreys Rugby.

The investment, believed to be the first of its kind involving a Welsh rugby region, will see Matthews & Co investing in the future growth of the region via its pension fund and benefiting from potential returns on this investment in the future.

Matthews & Co are a Swansea based firm of Chartered Accountants specialising in tax mitigation and advisory services.

Speaking about the investment Andrew Hore, Chief Operations Officer of Ospreys Rugby, said:

The business connection will also see Matthews & Co become official partners of the Ospreys providing accountancy and tax planning services to Ospreys Rugby and its players and support staff.
